About TOLL

What it does

It pulls the Coinbase and Binance x402 registries every six hours, sweeps every listed endpoint once a day, and keeps every observation: the registry’s usage counters on every endpoint at every snapshot, every validation, every appearance and disappearance from a registry, every declared payment option. Nothing is overwritten. From that record it publishes an index page for every endpoint, a measurement series called the Ledger, and a method for every number. A router that lets software buy from any listed endpoint through one balance is planned and is not built.

Independence

TOLL takes no money from anyone it lists or measures. Nobody is listed for pay and nothing is listed on request; the index holds what the registries hold. No ranking is influenced by anything but the published rule that produces it. There is no advertising, no sponsorship and no analytics. Where TOLL is uncertain it says so on the same line as the figure rather than rounding the uncertainty away.

The rules it holds itself to

• Every number carries a timestamp and links to the method that produced it.
• Registry presence is never presented as service liveness, and nothing states or implies intent.
• Raw figures stand beside adjusted ones; derived fields are marked derived.
• Corrections are permanent and dated in the changelog; a published number is never silently changed.
• Anyone named on a page can reply, free, through the public form; the reply is published unedited with its outcome.
• Every page has a pinned form at a snapshot stamp, so a quoted figure stays checkable at the moment it was quoted.

Reaching TOLL

The report form on every page is the channel, for errors, replies and corrections alike; it needs no account and stores nothing personal beyond what is typed. The collector’s own health is on status. The data is free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, on the data page.
